Xanthos meets Bianca, at a Royal wedding, between her sister and his secret half-brother. Xanthos is immediately drawn to Bianca. But Bianca to put it mildly not interested.
Bianca's sister arranges for Xanthos to fly, Bianca home, Bianca is reluctant but agrees in the end. The flight progresses smoothly, until the plane's engines fail. Xanthos manages to land them safely, but its snowing, cold, and they are in the middle of nowhere.
Xanthos handles the situation taking control, and keeping the stubborn Bianca safe. But the close proximity is getting too much for both of them. Xanthos especially struggles in the night, as he holds Bianca, to withstand the ultimate desire.
They survive the night and manage to be rescued. Xanthos thinks he has managed to escape. When they are taken to a hotel, only to discover there's only one room available.
After a magical Christmas night, the two make love. Xanthos is shocked to discover Bianca had been a virgin.
The two head back to London, and Xanthos asks to keep the no strings sex alive, Bianca isn't happy but agrees. Within a few weeks they are over.
For months Bianca tries to get over Xanthos, even dating. But nothing works, when he gets in contact they meet for dinner.
One thing leads to another. And a few months later Bianca asks to meet Xanthos, she reveals she's pregnant. Xanthos wants nothing to do with her or her baby. Despite begrudgingly saying he would marry her.
A very good read. A strong stubborn heroine, a hero that keeps her safe. And a happy ending.
